IT – Nella speranza che sempre più persone vengano a conoscenza del programma Erasmus +, desidero sottolineare l’importanza di esperienze come questa, non solo per le conoscenze che arricchiscono il nostro bagaglio culturale, ma anche per le competenze trasversali che sviluppiamo in questa tipologia di azioni formative internazionali.
Svolgere attività in un contesto accogliente, dove le persone credono in te e ti incoraggiano a dare il massimo, un contesto in cui “l’unità fa la forza”, aiuta a aumentare la fiducia in se stessi e a generare idee e progetti che possono davvero avere un impatto sulla società.
“Imparare facendo” e capire ciò che si sta studiando non è una caratteristica del sistema educativo italiano, poiché personalmente, fin da bambina, mi sono sempre chiesta a cosa servissero tutte quelle nozioni, dal momento che non venivano messe in pratica.
Questo metodo più pratico, insieme alla metodologia del Design Thinking, credo possa essere un’ispirazione per un nuovo programma educativo da proporre nelle scuole, dove si potrebbe toccare il futuro con le nostre stesse mani, dove potremmo comprendere immediatamente l’importanza di seguire le lezioni e imparare cose nuove al fine di fare la differenza nel futuro e di essere liberi di scegliere il nostro domani.
Il mio amico Federico ed io siamo stati ispirati da questa esperienza anche per cercare dare il nostro contributo al contrasto di una problematica che, ancora oggi, è presente in Italia: l’abbandono scolastico.
E grazie a Social Impact 3.0, abbiamo imparato che è essenziale avere sempre sempre un occhio aperto su “come” cerchiamo di cambiare la società, promuovendo sempre un modello di business sostenibile dal punto di vista ambientale, sociale ed economico.
EN – In the hope that more and more people will learn about Erasmus +, I would like to emphasize the importance of experiences like this not only for the notions that enrich our cultural background but also for the soft skills we develop within these contexts. Doing activities in a welcoming context, where people believe in you and encourage you to do your best, a context in which “unity is strength” helps to have more self-confidence and to come up with ideas and projects that can really have an impact on society. “Learning by doing” understanding what you are studying is not a feature of the Italian education system because, personally, since I was a child, I always wondered what all those notions were for since they were not put into practice. This more practical method, together with the Design Thinking methodology I think can be an inspiration for a new educational program to be proposed in schools where we can touch the future with our own hands, where we can understand the importance of following the lessons and learning new things in order to make a difference in the future and to be free to choose our future. My friend Federico and I were inspired by this experience to solve an issue to this day in Italy: school dropout. And, thanks to this experience, we will always have an eye on “how” we try to change society, starting with a business model canvas in which there is an environmentally, socially and economically sustainable project.
